Whether you are a student or a person in business, it's a given that you will have to do a lot of reading. Students need to read a lot of books and notes in order to study and prepare for pending exams. Those with careers in business, they have to do a lot of research on clients and read all sorts of other sources. With deadlines, exams and all sorts of other pressures, it sure takes its toll on a person trying to concentrate on a book. It's a guarantee that they aren't going to remember the information the next day.
The average person usually will try to skim through reading and try to get the most important parts in their mind. However, sometimes you can miss some crucial information and flunk that test or lose that client. You shouldn't have tried to cheat your way through it and now you are regretting that. Unfortunately, you didn't have the time to read through an entire book or paper and now you don't know what to do.
There are some people who are great at speed reading and comprehension and they will remember even the slightest of information. These are the people who get A's on all of their exams and the business personal who always land a client and get the job done well. They know the tips and tricks and aren't spending hours in front of a book like you are. They can get the information they need and move on to another source while you are still stuck on the first few pages.
It's possible for anyone, especially you, to learn to read at a rate of 25,000 words per minute while retaining that information in your long term memory. You owe it to yourself to learn this skill. It will change your life.
